How to create a LinkedIn newsletter
Let people actively subscribe to your LinkedIn content.
Here's how to set one up in a few clicks...
Set it up in 4 steps
- Find NewslettersHome page, scroll down on the left-hand side
- Click createStart a brand new newsletter
- Add the detailsTitle, description + an image
- Pick a frequencyThen click Done
Where to find it
Go to the home page on LinkedIn and scroll down on the left-hand side. You'll see something called Newsletters.
Click on that, then click the button to create a newsletter. (Mine's called LinkedIn Secrets.)
Give it a title, give it a description, upload an image + choose how often you want to publish. Then click Done and LinkedIn creates your brand new newsletter.

- Text on the image
- A frequency you'll actually stick to
- Weekly, if you won't post every week
Image + frequency
The image. Uploading one is pretty helpful, so make it as visual as possible. I wouldn't bother with text on it, because it's shown alongside your title anyway.
The frequency. This bit doesn't really matter, you can put whatever you want. What I would say is don't commit to weekly if you're not going to post every single week.
Built-in attention
As soon as you create it, LinkedIn invites all your connections to subscribe to it automatically.
And even better than that, every time you publish a new edition, all your subscribers get hit with a notification.
So you can drive even more attention to your content.
