How to cancel LinkedIn Premium
If Premium isn't earning its keep, here's how to cancel it.
Without digging through all the annoying menus...
Cancel it in 4 steps
- Click your photoYour profile picture, top right
- Settings & PrivacyOpens your account preferences
- Manage Premium accountScroll down to find it
- Cancel subscriptionThen click through to the confirmation
Skip the annoying menus
Click your profile picture in the top right, then click "Settings & Privacy".
Once you're in your account preferences, scroll down + click "Manage Premium account".
You'll see whichever plan you're on. I'm on Sales Navigator Core, so all I have to do is click "Cancel subscription".
Heads up: this works if you subscribed directly through LinkedIn. If you paid through Apple or Google, you'll need to cancel through the App Store or Google Play instead.

What LinkedIn are probably going to do is try and talk you out of it.
They might offer you a different plan or maybe a discount. If you've made your mind up, just ignore it.
Keep clicking through until you get a proper confirmation that you've cancelled.
You don't lose it straight away
You'll still keep your Premium features until the end of your current billing cycle.
After that, it drops back down to a free account automatically.
You don't need to do anything else.

How do I cancel LinkedIn Premium?
Click your profile picture in the top right, go to "Settings & Privacy", scroll down your account preferences to "Manage Premium account" + click "Cancel subscription". Keep clicking through until you get a confirmation.
Do I lose Premium as soon as I cancel?
No. You keep your Premium features until the end of your current billing cycle, then it drops back to a free account automatically.
How do I cancel if I subscribed through my phone?
If you paid through Apple or Google, you'll need to cancel through the App Store or Google Play rather than on LinkedIn.
Can I cancel Sales Navigator the same way?
Yes. It shows up under "Manage Premium account" in the same place. I'm on Sales Navigator Core and that's where my cancel button is.
LinkedIn offered me a discount. Do I have to take it?
No. If you've made your mind up, ignore it + keep clicking through until you get a proper confirmation that you've cancelled.
